Many domestic and commercial items were made from glass, some more recognisable than others - e.g., lacemaker lamps & globes, friggers, toddy lifters, stirrup cups & Nailsea objects.

Handsome flask made from window glass with ruby latticinio decoration, possibly by James Kelly in 1860s, at the Nailsea Glass Works.

Rare find: 19th century Jacob's Ladder on green & white vaseline glass stand, the ladders in green & clear glass.  One ladder & central pole sadly lacking finials, hence price.
"Friggers" such as Jacob's Ladders (& many other intriguing objects) were made at the end of the day to show off a glassmaker's skills, & often taken out on Sunday parades.

Rare Georgian opaque white glass sweetmeat bowl with folded rim, parallel gadroons, triple rings to stem on foldover foot, with polished pontil mark.  Remnants of enamelling.  Late 18th century, fiery glow to glass.
